The Mingpatriot Chu Tie-Xia (David Chiang) enlists the help of three local kung fu conmen, Lin Shao-You (Alexander Fu Sheng), Shi Da-Yong (Chi Kuan-Chun) and Guan Fei (Lee Yi-Min) who make their living as fake fortunetellers in the local village. Together they devise a plan to rid the Mongols of all their looted treasures by robbing an Armyconvoy, which leads to an epic fight in the Enemy-Headquarter.

Also you will notice Kung Fu movies on this site as well. What does this have to do with Blaxploitation? Well, the more action packed Blaxploitation films did not just street fight. Oh no.....they thought they were Kung Fu Masters. Chinese martial art movies gave a sense of invincibility to these actors. Seeing how cool it was to be a masterful fighter, why not just integrate this with Pimpin', Hustlin', Jive Talkin' and Pam Grier? Blax-Pride!!!

Nice posts on these Kung Fu Films!
I am in the process of getting rid of all my "horrible quality" dvds and only keeping those that have been digitally restored and remastered. I recently found out that not all that says digitally restored and remastered are actually that. But I seem to trust dragon dynasty, celestial pictures, shaolin collection to be digitally restored and remastered. If you have anymore companies that you trust please let me know...thanks
Yes, I realize I am bumping this two years, but here goes.
It's now 2011, and whereas there have been hundreds of Shaw Bros films beautifully remastered by Celestial, there are many wonderful films that have not, and it would be a great shame for you to not see the original Dragon Gate Inn, for example, solely because no pristine version exists.
By all means, track down and watch the best versions of the films you want to watch, but realize that some things aren't now and may never be available in pristine form.
