An era of its own. A time when American was in a transition from separatism to civil rights. The 70's was a Golden Age on so many levels and the influence echoes around the world in present day. Blaxploitation is considered in my opinion to be the coolest of cool. Touching on the most sensitive material in America at its time and exploiting them on the big screen or the vinyls in your record player produced for a glorified genre that nobody will ever be able to duplicate. Our mission at Blax-Pride is to educate those who are unfamiliar with this era and combine knowledge with those who are familiar.
Also you will notice Kung Fu movies on this site as well. What does this have to do with Blaxploitation? Well, the more action packed Blaxploitation films did not just street fight. Oh no.....they thought they were Kung Fu Masters. Chinese martial art movies gave a sense of invincibility to these actors. Seeing how cool it was to be a masterful fighter, why not just integrate this with Pimpin', Hustlin', Jive Talkin' and Pam Grier? Blax-Pride!!!
I hope everyone is doing well and living life the best way they know how. There are a couple announcements I would like to make.
Thanks to the ever so kind Miss Dragonetta, we were able to set up a REAL forum. It is currently under construction and memberships will not be accepted until we have made more progress in posting. This forum will provide the Blaxploitation Pride Community a more sociable environment and enhance communications between viewers and contributors.
Also, I know you all are wondering what happened to the Disco Godfather soundtrack. Well the link was available for a short moment, but was later removed. Frayker was the one who provided the link, but did not want to lose his trust with a source of his by posting a link without the original rippers permission (understandable). So until we get permission from the ripper, we are back to square one with the Disco Godfather soundtrack. If anybody can come up with this it would be greatly appreciated.

Very cool idea - i can't wait to see it.
I've had this site bookmarked for sometime now, but has never really checked it out before today. I am really sorry I did not because you guys have a really wonderful site here, with some great black films that I have been searching for. I will be downloading for the rest of the day and will be checking back more often. Thanks for the memories.
