Also you will notice Kung Fu movies on this site as well. What does this have to do with Blaxploitation? Well, the more action packed Blaxploitation films did not just street fight. Oh no.....they thought they were Kung Fu Masters. Chinese martial art movies gave a sense of invincibility to these actors. Seeing how cool it was to be a masterful fighter, why not just integrate this with Pimpin', Hustlin', Jive Talkin' and Pam Grier? Blax-Pride!!!

Hi there !
I'm new to your site,& I must admit that I'm totally smitten of the fond memories as a child of the 60's that you have displayed here.
Claudine...oh my goodness ! You cannot imagine that I've dubbed this the best soundtrack ever(but that's my opinion). I'm new to Blogger, I applaud you for the excellent work that you've displayed here,& I look forward to more in the future.
Keep it real..

Hi guys,
I’ve linked to this page in my post ”The First Annual Benefit for the Congressional Black Caucus (1975)” - it's got the band doing a great live version of "On and On" from this album, as well as Curtis Mayfield, Kool and the Gang etc
All the best,
Simon from Never Enough Rhodes
